Attend the National Small Business Exporter Summit for Insights from Industry Leaders and Their Success Narratives

Working at the Office of International Trade at the Small Business Administration (SBA), we’re always excited to hear about U.S. small businesses succeeding in exports, especially when they’ve used SBA services or those of our federal and state partners.

That’s one reason why the SBA will be taking part in the 2019 National Small Business Exporter Summit on April 9 in Savannah, Georgia. The Summit is a unique event where small business exporters share their success stories, providing invaluable training and networking opportunities for other small businesses, educators, counselors, and stakeholders.

This event is a fantastic chance to learn about international trade from leading small and medium-sized exporters across the United States. The sessions will cover best practices and lessons learned that have helped various companies succeed in exports. Attendees will gain insights into practical tools, techniques, strategies, and resources to help expand their businesses into new markets.

Various federal government agencies that support exporting will also be present, offering valuable services to small businesses selling internationally. Real testimonials from successful small business exporters often serve as the best endorsements for these services. This year, several Commerce Export Award winners and SBA Exporters of the Year will be among the honorees and presenters.

The SBA team, along with other federal export service providers, will be at the event. If you’re attending, please visit us in the exhibition area. We’re eager to partner with you to explore new markets and find global customers.

If you’re interested in the event, you can register online. If you can’t attend, know that the SBA and our federal partners offer programs to help you expand into new markets. Here are a few resources to help your business grow through international sales:
